Scam 1992 is based on the book "The Scam: Who Won, who Lost, who Got Away" the infamous Harshad Mehta case that shook the Indian stock market and made many go bankrupt the biggest scam of all times reported in the stock history. It's after this scam that the Indian regulatory bodies like SEBI became more vigilant and started strict governance on the stock market. But some smart one's still find their ways through the loopholes and one such person back then was Harshad Mehta.

We knew him as a manipulative person who had 72 criminal offences and 600 criminal action suits filed against him. This series gives us an insight of the stock market and Harshad's manipulative methods.

It's not about glorifying a criminal but his side of story and how the system is corrupt top to bottom. 

Stellar performances by Pratik Gandhi and all the co-actors. Amazing dialogue delivery catchy lines and an amazing script. Hats off to the writers and director Hansal for such a gripping storyline and direction.

Thanks to the OTT platform where writers have dared to be different giving us a spectrum of breathtaking performances.
