Where I belong

Image
Perched upon the tallest tree, The world below looks small to me. I scan the earth, I watch, I wait, For winds to guide me, paths create. From heights I see both far and near, With pride, yet bound, I linger here. My wings are strong, yet still I bide, Humble in the perch where I reside. For skies aren’t limits, they’re my song— They call me higher, where I belong. - Neha Pandya

Movie review...Judgementall hain kya

Judgementall hain kya... Judgement day for the Judgementall and it has battered my judgement once again about Kangana. Man! She is so flawless with her acting skills that for once you believe she can actually be a psychotic killer. The more I try to hate this woman for her real life drama the more I fall in love with her persona. She has nailed it once again as a patient undergoing medication for an acute psychosis disorder. The entire plot of the film is gripping and one cannot miss the famous real time scenarios that our drama queen has faced or rather staged (it was really audacious of her to use it as a parody in the movie). Rajkumar Rao as usual is "in the flesh" of the character that he has portrayed. All the actors have done justice to their roles but I just felt that Jimmy was underused. The background score and the screenplay are to the T with chucklesome dialogues. A must watch 👍 Personal rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Crown (review)

Image
The Crown (Netflix) Genre: Historical period drama Honestly I fancy period dramas and was more than delighted to watch this one well and it may really sound crazy of me but I have also watched a string of brilliant periodical drama movies like Hitler, Inglorious b******s, The Dirty Dozen, Munich all in a matter of few days. Well to begin with The Crown is a brilliant execution of what Queen Elizabeth II and her establishment is supposed to represent in England. Its about how the Queen manages her relationships within the castle and outside. All the characters having mastered their accents to the T and the one I liked the most is John who plays Winston Churchill...man he's brilliant with his dialogue exection and succeeded in bringing the character alive in front of our eyes. Claire who plays the queen plays her character flawlessly she has this uncanny ability to execute every emotion through her eyes. Her equations with her mother, husband, sister, Mr. Churchill teach us h...

Solo travels #Balidiaries

Image
A solo traveling experience worth sharing... My sojourn in Bali as a solo traveller came loaded with memories to be cherished forevermore. Honestly it still sends jitters down my spine when I hear the word solo. Right from my childhood days I've never been on my own always dependant either on my parents or my husband and when we discussed this whole idea of solo traveling I was sceptical however I gathered some guts and give it a shot and trust me it was worth every penny I spent. To begin with...my husband is not just supportive but he also made arrangements to ensure my travel is hassle free (to an extent where he ensured I be fed only veg meals 😆) Three days and two nights of visits to an active volcano, a beach for the surfing enthusiasts, temples and rituals, Kopi Luwak for the taste buds & loads of vitamin Sea... what else does a tourist wish for? Modest & humble Balinese people and their wonderful culture has made a special place in my heart. I met fellow...
